Getting There

    If you are in Galle Fort, start by walking towards the main gate of the fort. Exit through the gate onto the main road, which is called Street 1. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Galle Road (A2). Turn right onto Galle Road. Walk along Galle Road, passing various shops and eateries. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the Mahamodara Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight for another 500 meters. You will see signs for Mahamodara Beach Park & Marine Walk on your left. Follow the path leading down towards the beach area.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From any location in Galle, you can easily find a tuk-tuk. Simply tell the driver 'Mahamodara Beach Park' or show them the address: 26R2+34F, Marine Walk, Galle. The ride usually takes about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off near the entrance to the park.
