Car
From Kalpitiya town, head west on Main Street towards Kandakuliya. Continue straight for approximately 10 km. When you reach the junction near the Kandakuliya village, turn left. Follow the road for about 2 km until you see a sign for the Turtle Watching Point on your right. The exact location is at latitude 8.211794 and longitude 79.694918, marked as 6M6V+PX7.
Public Transportation
From Kalpitiya bus station, take a bus heading towards Puttalam. Inform the driver to drop you off at the Kandakuliya junction. The fare is typically around 30 LKR. Once you arrive at the junction, you can either walk (about 2 km) towards the Turtle Watching Point or hire a tuk-tuk for about 200 LKR to take you directly to the location.
Tuk-Tuk
If you are in Kalpitiya and prefer a more direct route, you can hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in town. It should cost around 500 LKR to get to the Turtle Watching Point. Just inform the driver to take you to 6M6V+PX7, Kandakuliya, which they should recognize.
