Car
Starting from the center of Ratnapura, head southwest on Main Street (A4) towards the Ratnapura-Avissawella Road (A4). Continue on A4 for approximately 4.5 km. Turn left onto the Katugas Ella Road, which is marked by a sign. Continue on this road for about 3 km until you reach the parking area for Katugas Ella Waterfall. There is no parking fee, but ensure to park responsibly.

Public Transportation
From the Ratnapura bus station, take a bus heading towards Pelmadulla. Confirm with the driver that they stop near Katugas Ella. The fare is approximately 50 LKR. Once you reach the stop for Katugas Ella, disembark and follow the signs to the waterfall, which is about a 15-minute walk (1 km) from the bus stop along a well-trodden path.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Ratnapura, start on Main Street (A4) and head southwest. After around 4.5 km, turn left onto Katugas Ella Road. Continue walking for about 3 km until you reach the waterfall. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be uneven.
