Board a bus from Kalutara to Ratnapura at the Kalutara bus station. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Ratnapura, you can take a tuk-tuk or a local bus to Nilminipura. Ask the driver to drop you off near the entrance to Thepulangoda Waterfall. The tuk-tuk fare should be around LKR 300-500 (approximately $1-2 USD).
