Walking
From the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, head southeast towards the main road (Sigiriya - Dambulla Road). Once you reach the road, turn left and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will see the Archaeological Museum on your right side, just before the entrance to the Sigiriya site.

If you have access to a bicycle, exit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress and cycle towards the main road (Sigiriya - Dambulla Road). Turn left on the road and continue for approximately 500 meters. The Archaeological Museum will be situated on your right side just before you reach the main entrance to the Sigiriya site.

If you prefer taking a tuk-tuk, simply ask the driver to take you to the Archaeological Museum. The journey should take around 5 minutes from Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Inform the driver that the museum is located just before the entrance to the Sigiriya site on the right side of the main road.
