Walking
Start at the center of Mariënburg. Head south on the main road towards Paramaribo. After about 1.5 km, you will reach a junction. Take a left turn at the junction onto the road leading to the Waterkant. Continue straight for another 2 km. As you approach the Waterkant area, you will see Fort Zeelandia ahead on your right. It is located directly on the waterfront.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Mariënburg. Begin your ride heading south on the main road towards Paramaribo. After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach a junction. Turn left onto the road that leads to the Waterkant. Continue cycling straight for about 2 km. Fort Zeelandia will be visible on your right as you approach the waterfront area.

From Mariënburg, find a local bus heading towards Paramaribo. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to go to Waterkant. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Waterkant, disembark the bus and walk towards the waterfront. Fort Zeelandia will be located on your right side, adjacent to the water.
