From the main entrance of Wia Wia Nature Reserve, head northwest on the main road towards Paramaribo. Follow the signs leading you out of the reserve and onto the N1 highway. Continue on N1 for approximately 3 hours, enjoying the scenic views along the way. As you approach Paramaribo, keep to the right to merge onto the A1 road. Follow A1 until you reach the city center. Once in the city, follow the signs to Waterkant where Fort Zeelandia is located. Parking is available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees.

Start from the Wia Wia Nature Reserve entrance and take a taxi or local shuttle to the nearest bus station. From there, catch a bus heading towards Paramaribo. The bus ride will take approximately 3 hours. Ask the driver to drop you off at Waterkant, where Fort Zeelandia is located. Once you arrive at Waterkant, you can easily walk to Fort Zeelandia, which is within a short walking distance.
