If you're driving from Åre to Drottningholm Palace, start by heading south on E14. Continue on E14 for about 90 km until you reach the junction with E4. Merge onto E4 towards Stockholm. After approximately 500 km, take exit 172 for Drottningholm. Follow the signs to Drottningholm Palace. There is parking available near the palace, but be aware that a parking fee may apply.

To reach Drottningholm Palace via public transportation from Åre, take a train from Åre station to Stockholm Central. The train ride takes about 6 hours. From Stockholm Central, transfer to the Tunnelbana (subway) and take Line 19 towards Alvik. At Alvik, change to the 176 bus towards Drottningholm. Get off at Drottningholm Palace stop.
