Car
If you're driving, head towards Säldammsbacken, 414 76 Göteborg. From central Gothenburg, take E6 towards the north. After about 15 km, take exit 64 towards Öckerö. Follow the signs to the Gothenburg Archipelago. Once you reach the Öckerö ferry terminal, take the ferry to Öckerö Island. After disembarking, continue driving on the main road until you reach a fork. Take the left fork towards Säldammsbacken. The waterfall will be a short walk from the parking area.
Public Transportation
To reach August Kobb Pond Waterfall via public transportation, start by taking tram line 11 from central Gothenburg to the ferry terminal at Saltholmen. From Saltholmen, catch the ferry to Öckerö Island. Once you arrive, continue on foot or take a local bus towards Säldammsbacken. Look for signs pointing towards the waterfall; it’s a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are already on Öckerö Island, you can walk to August Kobb Pond Waterfall. From the bus stop at Säldammsbacken, follow the trail that leads towards the water. The path is well-marked and will take you directly to the waterfall. It's approximately a 15-minute walk.
