There is parking available near the entrance, but be prepared to pay for parking, which typically costs around 20-30 SEK per hour.

Check the local ferry schedules for departures to the main ferry terminal in Gothenburg. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, head to the tram stop located nearby. Take tram number 3 towards 'Frölunda Torg' or tram number 8 towards 'Biskopsgården' and get off at the 'Slottskogen' stop. From the tram stop, it is just a short walk to the zoo, which is located within Slottskogen Park. Be aware that a single ticket on the tram costs approximately 38 SEK.
