From Jönköping, make your way to the Jönköping Ferry Terminal, located along the waterfront. You can walk there from the city center, which takes about 15-20 minutes. Look for signs pointing to the ferry terminal. Once at the terminal, purchase your ticket for the ferry to Visingsö. The ferry ride takes approximately 30 minutes, and you will enjoy scenic views of Lake Vättern during your journey. Upon arrival at Visingsö, disembark and head towards the main road.

After getting off the ferry at Visingsö, walk along the main road (Visingsövägen) towards Wisingsborg Castle Ruins. The walk is around 2 kilometers and takes about 25-30 minutes. Follow the signs towards the castle ruins; you will pass through beautiful countryside along the way. Continue on this path until you reach the castle ruins, which will be well marked.
