If you are starting from Kalmar Central Station, exit the station and head southeast on Klevgränd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Södra Långgatan. Turn right onto Södra Långgatan and walk until you reach the intersection with Ölandsgatan. Turn left onto Ölandsgatan and follow it until you arrive at Gamla Staden, which will be on your right. The total walk is approximately 1 km and should take around 15 minutes.

From Kalmar Central Station, take bus number 1 towards 'Böda'. Get off at the stop 'Kyrkogatan'. From there, walk back along Kyrkogatan until you reach the intersection with Stortorget. Turn left onto Stortorget and continue straight until you see Gamla Staden on your right. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop to Gamla Staden is approximately 5 minutes.
