Getting There

    Start your journey in Tärnaby and head southwest on E12 towards Strömsund. After approximately 130 km, take the exit onto E45 towards Östersund/Kalmar. Continue on E45 for about 30 km, then merge onto E22 towards Kalmar. Follow the E22 for around 150 km until you reach Kalmar. Once in Kalmar, take the exit for Kungsgatan. Kalmar Castle is located at Kungsgatan 1, 392 33 Kalmar. You can park in one of the nearby parking areas.

    From Tärnaby, take a bus to Strömsund. This journey usually takes about 1 hour. Check local bus schedules for exact times. From Strömsund, transfer to a bus heading towards Östersund.
