Getting There

Walking
If you're in the center of Lucerne, head to the famous Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke). Once you reach the bridge, walk towards the Old Town (Altstadt). After crossing the bridge, take the first left onto Weinmarkt, a charming square filled with cafes and shops. Continue straight until you reach Kapellplatz. Fritschibrunnen is located on the eastern side of Kapellplatz, right next to the Chapel Bridge. You will easily spot the fountain, which is a historical landmark.

Public Transport
From Lucerne train station (Bahnhof Luzern), take tram line 1 or 2 towards 'Kriens, Zentrum' or 'Horw, Bahnhof'. Get off at the stop 'Kapellplatz'. Once you exit the tram, walk straight ahead towards the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke). Fritschibrunnen is located on the eastern side of the square. It should take you about 10 minutes in total from the train station to the fountain.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops near the train station. Head towards the Old Town by following the signs to the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke). Once you reach the bridge, cycle across and park your bike at one of the designated bike racks at Kapellplatz. Fritschibrunnen is located on the eastern side of the square, just a short walk from where you park your bicycle.
