To reach the Pilatus Aussichtsplattform Oberhaupt, start at the Pilatus valley station located in Kriens. From Lucerne, you can take the local bus (Bus Line 1) from the main train station to the Kriens, Zentrum Pilatus stop. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. Once at the Kriens, Zentrum Pilatus stop, follow the signs to the valley station for the Pilatus cable car. The cable car ticket costs around CHF 32 for a round trip. Board the cable car, which will take you up to the top station. After disembarking, take a short walk to the Aussichtsplattform Oberhaupt, following the clearly marked paths.
