Getting There

• Car

  To reach Radolfzell Altstadt by car from St. Gallen, start by getting onto the A1 motorway from St. Gallen. Follow the A1 towards Zurich and continue until you reach the A4 towards Winterthur. Merge onto the A4 and follow the signs for A81 towards Stuttgart. Take the exit for Radolfzell and follow the signs to the town center. Once you arrive, park in one of the public parking areas near the Altstadt. Note that parking fees may apply, and it’s advisable to have some coins or a credit card ready for payment.

• Train

  If you prefer to travel by train, start at St. Gallen Hauptbahnhof (main train station). Purchase a ticket to Radolfzell am Bodensee.   You can also consider taking a train to a nearby larger city such as Konstanz and then taking a local bus to Radolfzell. From St. Gallen Hauptbahnhof, purchase a ticket to Konstanz. After arriving in Konstanz, find the bus terminal adjacent to the train station and board a bus to Radolfzell. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. This option might offer more frequent travel times but requires checking the bus schedules in advance.
