If you are driving from within Thurgau, take the A7 motorway towards Radolfzell. Follow the signs for Radolfzell and take exit 15 towards Radolfzell. Continue on B33 and follow the road until you reach Häuslegarten 17. There is parking available near Mettnau. Please be aware that parking may incur a fee, so check for signs indicating payment requirements.

By Train and Bus
To reach Mettnau via public transportation, first take a train to Radolfzell. You can catch a train from various locations within Thurgau to Radolfzell station, which may require a transfer depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Radolfzell station, exit and take bus line 739 or 740 towards 'Häuslegarten'. Get off at the 'Häuslegarten' stop, which is a short walk from Mettnau. Please check the local train and bus schedules for the most current times and routes. Train tickets can be purchased from ticket machines or online, and bus tickets can usually be bought on the bus.

Walking from Radolfzell
If you prefer to walk from Radolfzell, exit the train station and head south on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Häuslegarten, then turn right. Follow Häuslegarten until you reach Mettnau, which should take approximately 20-30 minutes on foot. This route allows you to enjoy the local scenery as you walk towards your destination.
