Car
From Verbier, take the Route du Golf road towards Le Châble. Continue on the Route de Verbier until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de la Station. Follow this road until you reach Le Châble. Continue straight onto Route de la Dranse, then take the exit onto Route de l'Etivaz. Follow the signs for Orsières. Once you reach Orsières, follow signs towards Commeire. Fort De Commeire is located at Commeire 2, 1937 Orsières. Parking is available near the site, but check for any applicable fees.

Public Transportation
From Verbier, walk to the Verbier bus stop located near the main square. Take the PostBus (line 223) towards Orsières. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Orsières bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Fort De Commeire. The Fort is about 5 km from the bus station, and it’s a scenic walk if you wish to enjoy the surroundings. If you prefer a taxi, you can expect to pay around CHF 15-20 for the ride.
