Getting There

Walking
From the center of Zermatt, head towards the Matterhorn Museum. Continue straight on the main street (Bahnhofstrasse) until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Gornergrat railway station. Turn left and follow the signs towards Gorner Gorge. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the Gornergrat railway station. Here, you can purchase a ticket for the Gornergrat cogwheel train.

Once you have your ticket, board the Gornergrat train. The train departs regularly, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Enjoy the stunning views as the train ascends. Get off the train at the Gornergrat station, which is the end of the line.
