Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Zermatt train station, exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstrasse. Walk straight along Bahnhofstrasse for about 10 minutes until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Uferweg. Follow Uferweg, which runs alongside the river. Continue walking for about 15 minutes, and you will find the Matterhorn View located at Uferweg 1. The walk is scenic, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, so take your time and enjoy the scenery.

From the Gornergrat railway station, exit and follow the signs for the Gornergrat trail. Begin your descent along the well-marked trail towards Zermatt. After about 1.5 hours of walking, you will reach the outskirts of Zermatt. As you approach the town, keep an eye out for Uferweg. Once you reach Uferweg, turn left and follow the path for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Matterhorn View at Uferweg 1.
