Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from Zermatt train station, exit the station and head southeast towards Bahnhofstrasse. Continue straight on Bahnhofstrasse until you reach the end of the street, where you will see a small park area. From the park, turn left onto Matterstrasse. Follow Matterstrasse for approximately 5-10 minutes, and you will find various scenic spots and beautiful views along the way.

Walking

If you are near the Gornergrat railway station, exit the station and walk back towards Zermatt. Follow the signs directing you back to the town center. As you approach the village, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Bahnhofstrasse. Turn right and follow Bahnhofstrasse until you reach the end of the street. Turn left onto Matterstrasse, which should be just a short distance ahead.

From the Matterhorn Museum, exit the museum and turn right onto the main street (Bahnhofstrasse). Walk straight until you reach the intersection and turn left onto Matterstrasse. Continue walking along Matterstrasse, enjoying the views until you reach your destination.

If you are at the Zermatt Church, exit the church and head down the road towards the main street. Once you reach the main road (Bahnhofstrasse), turn right and walk straight. Look for the turning to the left onto Matterstrasse and follow it until you reach your final destination.
