Gondola
From the center of Zermatt, head towards the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise lift station, which is located along the main street (Bahnhofstrasse). Follow the signs for the 'Gornergrat Bahn' and 'Matterhorn Glacier Paradise' to reach the station. Purchase your ticket for the Rothorn Bergstation at the ticket counter. Once you have your ticket, board the gondola that will take you up to Rothorn Bergstation. Enjoy the scenic views as you ascend.
Hiking
If you're feeling adventurous and are visiting during the summer months when trails are open, you can hike to Rothorn Bergstation. Start from the center of Zermatt and head towards the Sunnegga funicular station. Take the funicular to Sunnegga, then follow the marked hiking trails towards Rothorn.
