Getting There

Walking
From the center of Panjakent (near the Panjakent Museum), head northeast on the main street (Rudaki Street) towards the intersection with A. Rahmon Street. Continue straight until you reach the bus station. Here, look for a minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Durman. The fare should be around 5 TJS. Once you get on, inform the driver you are going to Sarazm, and they will let you know when to get off. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. After getting off, walk about 1 km towards the archaeological site, following the signs or asking locals for directions.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Panjakent. Start from the center of Panjakent and head northeast on Rudaki Street. Follow the same route as the walking instructions until you reach the bus station. Instead of taking a minibus, continue cycling along the road leading towards Durman.
