    By Car

    From Dar es Salaam, take the A7 highway towards Mbeya. Continue on this road until you reach Sumbawanga. From Sumbawanga, take the road towards Mpanda. Once in Mpanda, follow signs towards Katavi National Park. The park is located approximately 40km southeast of Mpanda town.

    By Public Transportation

    From Dar es Salaam, take a bus or train to Mbeya. From Mbeya, take another bus to Sumbawanga. In Sumbawanga, look for buses or shared taxis heading to Mpanda. Once in Mpanda, you can hire a local taxi or arrange for a tour operator to take you to Katavi National Park. The park is located approximately 40km southeast of Mpanda town.
