If you are in the center of Morogoro, start at the Morogoro Bus Stand on Mwembesongo Street. Head east on Mwembesongo Street for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with Boma Road. Turn left onto Boma Road. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass various local shops and eateries along the way. When you reach the junction with Boma Street, continue straight until you reach the area marked 5M7C+339. The Selous Marathon starting point will be on your right.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Morogoro. Head from the rental shop towards the Morogoro Bus Stand and follow the same path as if you were walking. Cycle east on Mwembesongo Street for about 500 meters, then turn left onto Boma Road. Keep cycling straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs or local runners to guide you, and you will reach the Selous Marathon starting point at 5M7C+339 on your right.
