Car
If you're traveling by car, set your GPS to 4000 Burgess Falls Dr, Sparta, TN 38583. From major highways, take I-40 to exit 280 for TN-111 N toward Cookeville. Once on TN-111, continue for about 15 miles, then take the exit for TN-84 toward Sparta. Follow TN-84 for approximately 5 miles, then turn left onto Burgess Falls Dr. The park entrance will be on your right. Note that there may be a parking fee, so keep a few dollars handy.

If you are using public transportation, you will need to first reach Sparta, TN. Take a Greyhound or similar bus service to Sparta. Once in Sparta, you might need to use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft to reach Burgess Falls State Park, as there are limited public transit options directly to the park. The taxi or rideshare fare should be approximately $15 to $20 from downtown Sparta to the park.

Once you arrive at Burgess Falls State Park, there are several trails leading to the waterfalls. The main trail is well-marked and starts near the visitor center.
