If you are in the heart of Germantown, start at the Germantown City Hall located at 1930 S Germantown Rd, Germantown, TN 38138. Head south on Germantown Road for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Wolf River Blvd. Turn left onto Wolf River Blvd and continue for about 1 mile. As you approach the intersection with Kimbrough Rd, you will find Riverwoods State Natural Area directly at the intersection on your right. The entrance is well marked and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Biking
For a pleasant bike ride, start at the Germantown Greenway Trail, which connects several parks in the area. Head towards the intersection of Germantown Rd and Wolf River Blvd. Follow the trail along Wolf River Blvd heading west for about 1 mile. When you reach the intersection with Kimbrough Rd, Riverwoods State Natural Area will be on your right. There are bike racks available once you arrive at the entrance.

Public Transport
To access Riverwoods State Natural Area using public transport, take the MATA bus route that services Germantown. Board the bus at any of the stops along Germantown Rd. Ensure you get off at the stop nearest to Wolf River Blvd. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk east along Wolf River Blvd until you reach the intersection with Kimbrough Rd. The entrance to Riverwoods State Natural Area will be on your left.
