    From the center of Hatchie River Area, head east on Highway 57. Continue driving for approximately 10 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 45. Turn left (north) onto Highway 45 and drive about 8 miles. Look for signs directing you to Pocahontas. Once you enter Pocahontas, turn right onto John Howell Road. Big Hill Pond State Park will be located about 2 miles down John Howell Road on your left at 1435 John Howell Rd, Pocahontas, TN 38061.
