If you are driving from the Hatchie River Area, head southeast on TN-54 S towards I-40. Merge onto I-40 E and then take exit 1A for I-240 S toward Jackson. Continue on I-240 S for about 15 miles. Take exit 15A to merge onto US-78 W toward Memphis. After approximately 5 miles, take exit 1A to merge onto I-55 S toward Jackson. Continue for about 3 miles and take exit 5 for Quince Rd. Merge onto Quince Rd, and you will find Lichterman Nature Center at 5992 Quince Rd, Memphis, TN 38119 on your left. There is no entry fee for the Lichterman Nature Center, but check for any special events that might incur a fee.

To reach Lichterman Nature Center using public transportation, start at the nearest bus stop in the Hatchie River Area. Board a Greyhound or local bus heading towards Memphis. Once you reach Memphis, transfer to the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) bus line. Look for the route that stops at Quince Rd. This route might involve a few transfers, so plan your trip ahead of time by checking MATA's website for the most current schedules. The bus fare is typically around $1.00 to $3.00 depending on the distance. After getting off at the Quince Rd stop, the Lichterman Nature Center is just a short walk from the bus stop, located at 5992 Quince Rd.
