From there, take the KAT bus route 22 (Knoxville Area Transit) towards the East Towne Mall. Get off at the stop near the intersection of I-40 and US-321. From that stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile north to reach the entrance of Foothills Parkway. Follow US-321 until you see the signs for the Foothills Parkway entrance.

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs in downtown Knoxville. Start at the Knoxville Convention Center and head east on Hill Avenue, then turn left onto 11th Street. Continue north until you reach the Knoxville Greenway. Follow the Greenway until it connects to the road leading towards Foothills Parkway. The ride is approximately 8 miles, so be prepared for a scenic bike ride with some elevation changes.
