    Getting There

    Public Transit

    To get to Foothills Parkway from downtown Knoxville, start by walking to the Knoxville Station, which is located at 100 E Magnolia Ave, Knoxville, TN 37917. From there, take the KAT bus route 22 (Knoxville Area Transit) towards the East Towne Mall. Get off at the stop near the intersection of I-40 and US-321. From that stop, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile north to reach the entrance of Foothills Parkway. Follow US-321 until you see the signs for the Foothills Parkway entrance.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs in downtown Knoxville. Start at the Knoxville Convention Center and head east on Hill Avenue, then turn left onto 11th Street. Continue north until you reach the Knoxville Greenway. Follow the Greenway until it connects to the road leading towards Foothills Parkway. The ride is approximately 8 miles, so be prepared for a scenic bike ride with some elevation changes.

    Walking

    If you're up for a long walk, you can make your way to Foothills Parkway on foot. Start from the Knoxville Museum of Art located at 1050 World's Fair Park Dr NW, Knoxville, TN 37916. Walk north towards the Tennessee River and cross the bridge. Continue on the pedestrian path along the river until you reach the junction with US-321. Follow US-321 for about 5 miles until you arrive at the entrance of Foothills Parkway. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as this trek is quite long.
