From the University of Tennessee campus, head east on Volunteer Blvd toward Neyland Dr. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Sutherland Ave. Turn left onto Sutherland Ave and walk for about 0.8 miles until you reach the intersection with Washington Pike. At Washington Pike, turn right and continue walking for approximately 1 mile. You will then see signs directing you to Zoo Knoxville on your left. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

You can catch the Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) bus from the University of Tennessee. Walk to the nearest bus stop on Cumberland Ave and board the Route 10 (Sutherland Ave). Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at Washington Pike. From there, transfer to the Route 12 (Zoo Knoxville) bus.
