From the courthouse, head east on E Main St toward S Church St. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S Tennessee Blvd. Turn left onto S Tennessee Blvd and walk for another 0.4 miles. Once you reach E Main St, you'll see the entrance to the Murfreesboro Greenway on your right. Follow the Greenway path for approximately 2 miles, which will lead you to the Walter Hill Hydroelectric Station. The station is located near the confluence of the Stones River and the Greenway path.

Begin at the Murfreesboro City Hall at 111 W Vine St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. Rent a bike from a local rental shop if you don’t have one. Head east on E Vine St until you reach N Church St, where you will turn left. Continue on N Church St until it becomes E Main St. After about 1 mile, take a right onto S Tennessee Blvd and bike for about 0.4 miles. Look for the entrance to the Murfreesboro Greenway on your right. Follow the Greenway trail for approximately 2 miles, which will lead directly to the Walter Hill Hydroelectric Station.
