From the center of Smyrna, head northwest on Sam Ridley Parkway. Continue straight for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Old Nashville Highway. Turn left onto Old Nashville Highway and follow it for approximately 2 miles. You will see signs for the Walter Hill Hydroelectric Station. Follow the signs to the entrance, which is located near the river.

Start at the Smyrna Town Center. Head southwest on Lowry Street towards Sam Ridley Parkway. Turn right on Sam Ridley Parkway and walk for about 1 mile. At the intersection with Old Nashville Highway, turn left and continue walking for approximately 2 miles. You will reach the Walter Hill Hydroelectric Station on your right, just past the signs indicating the entrance.

From the Smyrna Transit Center, take the local bus route that heads towards Murfreesboro. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of Sam Ridley Parkway and Old Nashville Highway.
