If you're traveling by car from downtown Tri-Cities, head southeast on W Main St toward E Sullivan St. Continue on W Main St for about 1.5 miles until you reach I-81 S. Merge onto I-81 S and continue for approximately 9 miles. Take exit 69 for TN-75 toward Blountville. Turn right onto TN-75 S, and after about 4 miles, turn left onto Cave Hill Rd. Appalachian Caverns will be on your right at 420 Cave Hill Rd, Blountville, TN 37617. The drive takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
