If you're in Tri-Cities and traveling by car, start by heading south on I-81 S. After about 25 miles, take exit 17 for US-11 S toward Greeneville. Continue on US-11 S for approximately 100 miles. Follow signs for I-40 W towards Nashville. Merge onto I-40 W and drive for about 15 miles. Take exit 207 for TN-96 toward Franklin. Keep left at the fork to continue on TN-96 S, following signs for Franklin. After about 5 miles, turn right onto Columbia Ave. Carter House will be on your left at 1140 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064. Parking is available on-site.
