    If you are near the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, you can start your journey to Fort San Jacinto Historic Point by heading east on Seawall Boulevard. Walk along the scenic Seawall, enjoying views of the Gulf of Mexico on your left. Continue walking for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with 61st Street. The Fort San Jacinto Historic Point is located just ahead on your right.

    For those who prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Galveston. Start your ride from the Strand Historic District, heading southeast towards Seawall Boulevard. Once you reach Seawall Boulevard, turn right and follow the road along the coast. Keep biking for approximately 1.5 miles, and look for the entrance to Fort San Jacinto Historic Point on your right.
