Getting There

• Walking

  From any point in North Overton, head south towards 19th Street. Continue walking until you reach 19th Street and then turn left (east). Walk along 19th Street until you reach University Avenue. Turn right (south) onto University Avenue. Continue walking straight for approximately 1 mile (about 20 minutes). You will pass by local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for Crickets Avenue on your left. Once you reach Crickets Avenue, turn left and the Buddy Holly Center will be on your right at 1801 Crickets Ave.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, this route is very bike-friendly. Start from your location in North Overton and head south towards 19th Street. Turn left on 19th Street and continue to University Avenue. Turn right onto University Avenue and ride for about 1 mile. Look for Crickets Avenue on your left and turn left. The Buddy Holly Center will be on your right at 1801 Crickets Ave. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking rules. Check if there are rental bikes available near your accommodation.

• Public Transit

  For public transit, you can take the Citibus. Look for the nearest bus stop in North Overton and catch the bus on the route that goes to the Downtown area. You may need to transfer buses at the hub. Once at the Downtown hub, catch the Route 5 bus that goes towards the Buddy Holly Center. Get off at the stop closest to Crickets Avenue and walk a short distance to 1801 Crickets Ave. The bus fare is approximately $1.00 per ride, so be prepared with cash or a transit pass.
