Getting There

• Public Bus

  From your current location in New Braunfels, head to the nearest bus stop that services route 305, which connects New Braunfels to Lockhart. Exit the bus and walk south on State Park Rd for approximately 0.7 miles until you arrive at the park entrance.

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in New Braunfels. Once you have your bike, head south on Seguin Ave (TX-46) until you reach the junction with State Park Rd. Turn left onto State Park Rd and continue cycling for about 8 miles until you reach Lockhart State Park. Be sure to follow the designated bike lanes where available.
