Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you are starting from downtown New Braunfels, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Main Plaza and San Antonio St. Board the Comal Transit bus route that goes towards the I-35 corridor. The bus will take you along the main route towards I-35. After approximately 15-20 minutes, get off at the stop closest to I-35 and loop back towards the northbound side. You will be within walking distance to Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo at 5640 I-35. Follow the pedestrian pathway that leads you to the entrance.

• Bicycle Rental

  For a more enjoyable ride, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in New Braunfels. Start from the downtown area and head east on San Antonio St. Take a right onto N. Walnut Ave and continue until you reach I-35. Once you arrive at I-35, follow the bicycle lane north towards Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your pace, and you'll enjoy the sights along the way!

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous and are close to the I-35 area, you can walk to Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo. From the center of New Braunfels, head north on Seguin Ave until you reach the intersection with I-35. Cross over to the northbound side of I-35 and continue walking along the designated pedestrian paths. It will take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach the zoo, and you can enjoy the scenery and local shops along the way.
