• Public Transit

  From The Woodlands Mall, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Lake Woodlands Dr and Six Pines Dr. Board the 385 bus towards 'Grand Central Park'. After approximately 20 minutes, transfer at the 'Metro Transit Center' to the 50 bus heading towards 'Richmond'. Stay on the 50 bus for about 45 minutes until you reach the stop 'Houston St @ 5th St'. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Long-Smith Cottage located at 500 Houston St. Follow Houston St south until you reach your destination.

  Start at The Woodlands Waterway, and follow the pathway along the waterway south until you reach the intersection with Research Forest Dr. Turn right and continue onto Research Forest Dr until you connect with the bike lanes on I-45. Head south on I-45 until you reach the exit for Highway 59. Take the exit and follow the bike paths that lead towards Richmond. Continue on the designated bike lanes and paths until you reach 500 Houston St, where Long-Smith Cottage is located.

  If you are starting from Market Street in The Woodlands, head east on Waterway Ave until you reach the intersection with Lake Woodlands Dr. Cross Lake Woodlands Dr and continue straight on the pathway leading to the bus stop. Alternatively, you can walk to the nearest major intersection and catch a bus heading towards Richmond. Once you arrive at Houston St, it is a 5-minute walk to Long-Smith Cottage located at 500 Houston St.
