Public Bus
From The Woodlands, you can catch the Montgomery County Public Transportation bus (Route 2) at The Woodlands Mall bus stop. Board the bus heading towards Conroe. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Tomball Parkway and FM 2920 stop. From there, transfer to the Harris County Transit (Route 1) bus that goes to Tomball. It will take approximately 15 minutes to reach the downtown Tomball area. Once you arrive at the Tomball Town Center, walk north on Pine Street for about 10 minutes to reach the Tomball Museum Center located at 510 N Pine St.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in The Woodlands. Start from The Woodlands Waterway and head west on Research Forest Drive.
