Khao Sok National Park Hiking and Bamboo Raft From Khao Lak
A good trip made great with an excellent guide
we had an excellent day, well designed etc and a stand out of our trip due to the quality of guide. Peter spoke excellent English, and really knew about Thai conservation and nature, not just what we saw on the paths. He had a broad knowledge across Thailand's history and culture and was really interesting. He was terrific at finding species and we saw gibbons, lemur as well as macaque, a sleeping pit viper, tarantula in its hole, birds, and a range of small insects etc - much more than I thought we would see. We walked for 7km then had a lovely lunch stop before taking a short bamboo raft.

Cheow Lan Lake Adventure from Krabi with Cave and Floating Lunch
Fabulous days experience with a beautiful lunch and kayaking.
Loved it. Tuk tuk our guide was really friendly and helpful. Well worth doing. Downside was the bus from krabi is 2.5hrs so very long day. Mini bus driver also spent lots of time om his phone and not watching the road so not ideal.

Khao Sok Bamboo Raft Tour from Khao Lak

Me and my husband did a half day bamboo raft tour on Khao sok river from Khao Lak. We made a stop in the jungle to drink good coffee from bamboo pipes. (Coffee mugs) It was a nice day and the taxi driver was so polite and nice and even made a stop to a fabric store on the way home because I was looking for just that. We should never have found the fabric store ourselves. 😊We are very happy with the day. And can warmly recommend such a trip.
