Bicycle
From the Ayutthaya Historical Park, rent a bicycle from one of the nearby rental shops. Head southeast on Naresuan Road (Road 32) for about 1.5 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the large golden chedi of Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, which will be visible from the road. Turn left onto Khlong Suan Phlu Road and continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the temple entrance.

Tuk-Tuk
From your location in Ayutthaya, find a tuk-tuk driver and tell them you would like to go to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon. It is best to negotiate the fare beforehand. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the entrance of the temple.

Walking
If you are near the Ayutthaya Historical Park, you can walk to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon. Start by heading south on Naresuan Road (Road 32) for about 1.5 kilometers. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will see the striking golden chedi of the temple. Turn left onto Khlong Suan Phlu Road and continue walking straight for another 1 kilometer until you reach the temple.

Head to one of the boat piers near the Chao Phraya River. Look for a local boat service that offers rides to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon. The boat ride will give you a different perspective of Ayutthaya. Once you arrive at the nearest dock, you may need to walk approximately 500 meters to reach the temple.
