Getting There

• BTS Skytrain

  To get to Ganesh Shrine, start by finding the nearest BTS Skytrain station. If you are in the Sukhumvit area, you can catch the Sukhumvit Line at stations like Asok or Nana. Take the train towards Mo Chit and disembark at Siam Station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to the Central World shopping complex. The Ganesh Shrine is located just outside the entrance to Central World, at 2978 Rama I Rd, Pathum Wan. It's a short 5-10 minute walk from the station.

• Taxi or Tuk-Tuk

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or tuk-tuk. Simply tell the driver to take you to Ganesh Shrine at 2978 Rama I Rd, Pathum Wan. Most drivers will know the location, but it's advisable to have the address written in Thai: 2978 ถนนพระรามที่ 1 แขวงปทุมวัน เขตปทุมวัน กรุงเทพมหานคร 10330. The ride will vary depending on traffic but typically takes about 10-20 minutes from popular areas like Khao San Road or Silom.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby, such as in the Pathum Wan area, you can walk to Ganesh Shrine. Head towards Rama I Road and look for the Central World Plaza. The shrine is situated just outside of Central World, so once you reach the plaza, you can easily spot the shrine. Walking from nearby hotels like the Amara Bangkok or Novotel Bangkok can take around 10-15 minutes.

• Bus

  Alternatively, if you want to take a bus, find a local bus stop and look for buses heading along Rama I Road. Routes 15, 25, and 73 pass near the shrine. Get off at the Central World stop, and from there, the shrine is just a short walk away. Make sure to check the bus schedule and routes as they can vary.
