From Khao San Road, head south towards Chakrabongse Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Phra Athit Road. Turn right onto Phra Athit Road, then continue straight until you reach the Chao Phraya River. From there, you can see the Grand Palace across the river. It is approximately a 20-minute walk.

Tuk-Tuk
You can easily find a tuk-tuk on Khao San Road. Negotiate the fare before you get in; it should cost around 100-150 THB. Ask the driver to take you to the Grand Palace (Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang). The ride will take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.

Walk from Khao San Road to the nearest pier at Phra Athit (about a 15-minute walk). Here, you can catch a boat on the Chao Phraya River. Take a boat that goes to the Ta Chang Pier (N13), which is the closest stop to the Grand Palace. The boat fare is around 15-30 THB. Once you disembark at Ta Chang Pier, it is a short 10-minute walk to the Grand Palace.
