    If you are already in Khao Takiab, the easiest way to reach Wat Khao Takiap is by walking. Start from the main road, Phetkasem Road (Highway 4), where you can find plenty of local shops and eateries. Head south on Soi Takiab, which is the road that leads into the neighborhood. Keep walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you see the large Buddha statue on the hill – that is Wat Khao Takiap. The temple entrance is located at the bottom of the hill, and you will need to walk up a series of steps to reach the temple itself.

  • Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

    Another option is to take a Songthaew, which is a shared taxi that runs along the main routes in Hua Hin. You can catch a Songthaew on the main road, Phetkasem Road. Look for one heading to Khao Takiab or just ask the driver to drop you off at Wat Khao Takiap. The fare is typically around 10-20 THB per person, depending on your starting point. Once you get dropped off, it’s just a short walk to the temple entrance.
