Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Kanchanaburi, head southeast along the main road (Th Phra That). Walk for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Th Thaweesak. Turn left onto Th Thaweesak and continue walking for about 500 meters. You will pass various shops and local eateries. At the next main intersection, turn right onto Th Nong Ya. Follow this road for another 1 kilometer. You will see signs directing you to Wat Tham Khao Pun. Continue on this road until you reach the entrance of the temple, where you can find the viewpoint by the river.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the many shops in Kanchanaburi. Start your journey from the center of town, heading southeast on Th Phra That for about 1 kilometer. Turn left onto Th Thaweesak and cycle for about 500 meters. At the next intersection, turn right onto Th Nong Ya. Continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer, following the signs to Wat Tham Khao Pun. Upon reaching the temple, park your bicycle and walk to the river viewpoint.

    Hail a tuk-tuk from the main street in Kanchanaburi. Tell the driver you want to go to Wat Tham Khao Pun. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the temple, you can walk to the viewpoint which is located by the river.
