Ferry and Taxi
To get to Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach, first, take a ferry from Koh Samui to Koh Pha Ngan. The ferries depart from either Nathon Pier or Bangrak Pier on Koh Samui. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Thong Sala Pier on Koh Pha Ngan, you can hire a taxi or a songthaew (shared taxi) to Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to specify Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach to the driver, as there are multiple beaches in the area.

Longtail Boat
An adventurous option is to take a longtail boat from Koh Samui directly to Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach. You can negotiate a ride from various beaches on Koh Samui, such as Chaweng or Lamai. The trip can take around 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on sea conditions. Ensure to confirm with the boat operator that they can take you directly to Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach.

Public Transport (Songthaew)
If you are in a part of Koh Samui that is not near the ferry piers, you can take a songthaew to Nathon Pier or Bangrak Pier, and from there, follow the ferry instructions above. Once on Koh Pha Ngan, take a songthaew from Thong Sala Pier to Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach. This method can take about 1.5 to 2 hours total, depending on waiting times for the ferry and songthaew.
