Getting There

  • Songthaew

    From Ao Nang, head to the main road (Maharaj Rd) and look for a songthaew (shared taxi) heading towards Krabi Town. The fare is usually around 50 THB. Ask the driver to drop you off at Krabi Town. Once you arrive in Krabi Town, you can find another songthaew heading towards Nong Thale. The fare should be about 30 THB. Inform the driver that you want to go to Khao Ngon Nak National Park Office.

  • Longtail Boat

    If you are in Railay Beach, you can take a longtail boat to Ao Nang. The cost is typically around 100-200 THB depending on the boat and time of day. Once you reach Ao Nang, follow the previous guidance on taking a songthaew to Krabi Town and then to Nong Thale.

  • Bicycle Rental

    If you prefer to explore on two wheels, you can rent a bicycle in Ao Nang. Head east on the beach road until you reach the main road (Maharaj Rd). Turn left and continue for about 8 kilometers until you see signs for Nong Thale. Follow the signs to Khao Ngon Nak National Park Office, which will be on your left.
