Songthaew
To reach the Emerald Pool from Krabi Town, head to the main road (Phanom Bencha Road). Look for a songthaew (a shared taxi truck) that is heading towards Khlong Thom. The fare is usually around 50 THB. Inform the driver that you want to go to the Emerald Pool, and they will drop you off at the entrance. The ride takes approximately 40 minutes.
Long-tail Boat and Walking
If you are staying near Ao Nang Beach, you can take a long-tail boat to Klong Muang Beach, then transfer to a songthaew or tuk-tuk to Khlong Thom. The boat ride will take around 20 minutes, and the songthaew ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the entrance of the Emerald Pool, follow the signs and walk about 1 km to reach the pool itself.
Tuk-tuk
You can hire a tuk-tuk from Krabi Town directly to the Emerald Pool. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 600-800 THB for a round trip. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. The driver will wait for you while you explore the area.
